Au moment où le Royaume-Uni quitte l’Union européenne, le projet Talkie-Walkie Walkie-Talkie stimule les échanges artistiques franco-anglais en proposant un nouveau cadre de coopération transfrontalière dans le domaine de la création contemporaine.

Neuf artistes français·es de la Côté d’Opale et huit artistes anglais·es venu·es de la côte sud anglaise ont été invité·es à collaborer dans les ateliers de Fructôse du 4 au 7 juillet prochains.

Regroupés en quatre équipes de création, ces artistes aux nationalités et pratiques artistiques différentes construiront des créations collectives autour du concept de transfrontalité. Utopiques, caustiques, pragmatiques, engagés, délirants, pointus ou farfelus, ces projets réalisés dans le climat fiévreux d’un marathon artistique de 48 heures chercheront à créer du lien là où la rupture menace.

Le dimanche 7 juillet, Fructôse vous invite à découvrir les fruits de ce brainstorming franco-britannique lors d’une après-midi de restitution publique du projet !

In the turmoil of the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, Walkie-Talkie Walkie-Talkie project stimulates Franco-British artistic exchanges by engaging a new cross-border cooperation framework in the field of contemporary art.

Nine French artists from the “Côté d’Opale” and eight English artists from the English South Coast were invited to collaborate at Fructôse studios and spaces from July 4th to 7th.

Grouped into four creative teams, these artists with different nationalities and artistic practices will make collective creations around the trans-border concept. Utopian, caustic, pragmatic, delirious, in-depth, critical or far-fetched, these projects, carried out in the feverish atmosphere of a 48-hour artistic marathon, will seek to build a link where the break threatens.

On Sunday, July 7th, Fructôse invites you to discover the results of this Franco-British brainstorming during an afternoon of public restitution of the project!

3pm – Roundtable on the future of the artistic relation between France and the UK in the context of Brexit
